Dear parent/guardians,
As parents, we want the very best for our children; we want them to thrive and to make sure nothing holds them back from living healthy life.
Unfortunately, many children suffer from asthma (chronic) illness that requires daily management.
According to the WHO, an estimated 339 million people struggle with the threats of asthma attacks which can make living a healthy and active life challenging.
Most asthma attacks are largely preventable with daily management including taking medicine as directed by your health care provider, avoiding triggers and making sure your child’s school has a completed medication administration form (MAF) on file for asthma management.
It is obvious that many rural dwellers with low or no income is medically underserved and are at potential increased risk for uncontrolled asthma.
Asthma initiative international is fully committed to work with you on your child asthma management to prevent daily attacks and assist you keep your child healthy’
I wish you and your family the best of health.
Sincerely
Michael Ekpenyong okon
